Cai joined Symplectic after finishing his PhD in Computer Science at the University of Bath, previously having done lots of maths and some neuroscience. As a software developer, he is currently learning C♯, a little SQL and a lot about Elements. He likes taking things apart to see how they work and reassembling then in the hope that they still do.
Outside work, Cai is a fan of playing indie video games, listening to podcasts, cooking with chilli and cyberpunk.
